'For Real' Williams Wins East Coast Title in Brutal Bout!

In front of a packed house at Martin's West in Woodlawn, MD, Baltimore light heavyweight Willie "For Real" Williams won a tough and brutal eight-round unanimous decision over a game Jameel "Black Gold" Wilson of Philadelphia.

Williams busted Wilson up throughout the contest, bloodying Wilson's nose and landing some brutal body shots. In the third round, Williams landed a body shot that seemed to momentarily paralyze the right side of Wilson's body. However, Wilson was extremely game and, at times, caught Williams with head shots of his own. Surprisingly, neither man was knocked down in the contest.

Blood flowed rather freely in this bout as ringside observers saw speckles of blood hit the tables in front of them and the wrist wraps on both men turned blood red. Judges John Gradowski and Malik Waleed scored the bout 78-74 while Judge Don Risher saw the contest, 79-73.

Williams is now 12-2-1, three KO's and is unbeaten in his last seven contests. Wilson's record falls to 13-16-3, eight KO's and is winless in his last 13 bouts.
